Its Web content management software include Hot Banana Web Content Management Suite, to manage content across Web properties, including corporate Web sites, intranets, extranets, landing pages, and micro marketing sites; and Hot Banana Active Marketing Suite, which integrates features, including content management, Web analytics, email marketing, and event registration. Lyris also offers EmailAdvisor, a deliverability monitoring tool that facilitate the delivery of legitimate email; MailShield, an email security and antispam software; and MailEngine, an SMTP mail transfer agent. Its solutions are available as licensed software that is installed on a client’s computers, and hosted solutions that clients access through the Internet and pay for on a subscription basis. Lyris’ customers include small and middle-market companies, as well as marketing and advertising agencies, government entities, and universities worldwide. The company was founded in 1984. It was formerly known as J. L. Halsey Corporation and changed its name to Lyris, Inc. in October 2007. Lyris is based in Wilmington, Delaware.
